These are the terms that govern your visit to RM Homes and every furniture order you place with us from browsing the catalogue to delivery and assembly at your door.
This page sets out the terms for using RM Homes, placing furniture orders, and having them delivered and assembled at your home or business. If anything here is unclear, our team is one message away.
By visiting or shopping on this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the site.
We may update these terms from time to time as our catalogue, delivery partners, or policies evolve. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, or using the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order with us.
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you give us including delivery address, floor/access details, and payment information is accurate and that you're authorized to use the payment method provided.
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including stock errors, pricing errors, discontinued materials or finishes, or suspected fraud.
Prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and may change without notice due to fluctuations in material or freight costs. Payment is processed securely at the time of order through our listed payment partners, and for made-to-order or custom furniture, a partial advance may be required to confirm production.
Some pieces in our catalogue are made to order in a chosen fabric, wood finish, or dimension. Once production begins on a customized order, it generally cannot be cancelled or modified, so please confirm fabric swatches, finish samples, and measurements carefully before checkout.
Because these pieces are handcrafted, minor natural variations in wood grain, fabric texture, or colour compared to reference photos are normal and are not considered defects.
We aim to dispatch every order within the timeframe shown at checkout. Delivery estimates for furniture are longer than typical parcels due to size, packaging, and handling requirements, and can be affected by courier or freight delays outside our control.
You are responsible for ensuring the delivery address has reasonable access for large items lifts, staircases, doorways and hallway widths and for confirming this before placing an order. Additional charges may apply for delivery to upper floors without lift access, or for delivery to locations our standard courier network doesn't cover.
Where assembly is included with a product, our delivery team or an appointed partner will assemble the piece on-site at the time of delivery. Assembly of items purchased as flat-pack or self-assembly is the customer's responsibility unless a paid assembly service was selected at checkout.
Risk of loss and title for items pass to you once the order is handed over at your delivery address, though we'll always work with you if something arrives damaged, defective, or short in quantity report this to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
Eligible items can be returned or exchanged within the window stated on our returns page, provided they're unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging where possible large furniture items may require our team to inspect and collect the piece rather than a standard courier return.
Customized, made-to-order, or clearance/sale-tagged furniture is not eligible for return or exchange unless it arrives defective or materially different from what was ordered.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected, and may take longer to process than typical retail items due to inspection requirements for larger furniture pieces.
Furniture is covered against manufacturing defects for the warranty period stated on the individual product page. This covers structural issues such as frame defects or faulty mechanisms, but does not cover normal wear and tear, fabric fading from sunlight exposure, water damage, or damage from misuse or improper cleaning.
We recommend following the care instructions provided with your piece dusting wood surfaces regularly, using appropriate leather or fabric cleaners, and avoiding prolonged direct sunlight to keep your furniture in good condition and within warranty terms.
Everything on this site, including product designs, photography, room styling, text, and the RM Homes name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
You may browse and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing, reselling, manufacturing, or repurposing our furniture designs or content without written permission isn't allowed.
You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt its operation, interfere with other users, scrape our catalogue or pricing data, or access areas or data you're not authorized to reach.
Businesses ordering at volume corporate offices, hotels, real estate developers, interior designers, and institutional buyers are subject to separate quotation, invoicing, and delivery-scheduling terms agreed with their account manager, which take precedence over standard retail terms where they conflict.
Trade and bulk pricing is confidential and intended solely for the business account it's issued to; it may not be shared, resold, or extended to third parties without our written consent.
We work hard to keep this site, our product measurements, and delivery estimates accurate, but we don't guarantee the site will always be error-free or uninterrupted, and photographs may show slight variation in colour due to screen display settings.
To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the site, delivery delays caused by third-party couriers, or products purchased through it beyond the value of the order itself.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
