Run With the Same
Care We Build With

The principles, oversight, and standards behind how RM Homes operates from leadership and ethics to how we treat the people and partners behind every piece we make.

This page outlines how RM Homes is governed leadership oversight, business ethics, supplier standards, and how concerns get raised and heard.

01

Our Approach to Governance

Good governance, to us, isn't a compliance exercise it's the same care we ask our artisans to bring to a piece of furniture, applied to how we run the business. This page sets out the principles, oversight, and standards that guide RM Homes as we grow.

These practices apply across our operations sourcing, manufacturing, retail, and delivery and are reviewed periodically as the business evolves.

02

Leadership & Oversight

Our leadership team is accountable for the decisions made in the company's name, from sourcing materials to how customer data is handled. Major decisions on strategy, finance, and risk are reviewed by senior leadership before they're acted on.

We maintain clear internal reporting lines so that concerns raised by any part of the business supply chain, retail, or customer support reach leadership without being filtered or delayed.

03

Business Ethics & Code of Conduct

Every person who works with us, whether on our team or through a partner, is expected to act honestly: no bribery, no falsified records, and no conflicts of interest left undisclosed.

We compete on the quality of our furniture and service, not on shortcuts. Marketing claims, pricing, and product descriptions are expected to be accurate and never misleading.

04

Supplier & Labor Standards

We work with carpenters, artisans, and manufacturing partners who are paid fairly and work in safe conditions. Suppliers are expected to meet our standards on labor practices, workplace safety, and material sourcing before we bring them into our supply chain.

We don't tolerate child labor, forced labor, or unsafe working conditions anywhere in our supply chain, and we act on any credible concern raised about a partner.

05

Risk Management

We regularly assess risks across the business supply chain disruptions, financial exposure, data security, and product quality and put safeguards in place before issues become problems.

Where risk can't be eliminated entirely, such as with natural wood variation or shipping delays, we aim to be upfront with customers rather than let it surface as a surprise.

06

Environmental Responsibility

We favor responsibly sourced wood and materials, and we work to reduce waste in production wherever we can. Packaging and delivery practices are reviewed periodically with an eye toward reducing environmental impact.

We're not perfect on this front, and we don't claim to be but it's a standard we hold ourselves to and keep working toward.

07

Data & Information Governance

Customer and business data is handled under the same principles laid out in our Privacy Policy and Data & Security page: limited access, clear accountability, and no use of data beyond what it was collected for.

Financial and operational records are maintained accurately and retained in line with our legal and tax obligations.

08

Reporting a Concern

If you're an employee, partner, or customer and you believe something isn't right whether it's a business practice, a safety issue, or a supplier concern we want to hear about it directly.

Reports are treated seriously and in confidence, and we act on credible concerns without retaliation against the person who raised them.

09

Changes to This Page

As our governance practices evolve alongside the business, we'll keep this page current. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date below.
